Your record is yours.
Truupr is a marketplace where licensed businesses book certified professionals for a day's work. This page explains what we collect to run it, who can see what, and what we will never do with it.

1. What we collect
- Your application: name, email, phone, city or area, whether you book work (taskr) or do work (truupr), your business name, skills, and the licence or worker-permit details you give us so we can verify them.
- Verification documents you upload, such as a state-issued worker permit, a trade licence or a business licence. We read the text on a credential automatically to match your name, number and expiry, and we check business licence numbers against the state's public licence records.
- Task records: the tasks you post or accept, agreements you sign, clock-in and clock-out times, your location at clock-in and clock-out, hours, ratings, thread messages, badges, and confirmations that payment was sent and received. We record that a payment was made. We don't collect bank or card numbers.
- Business systems data, if a taskr chooses to connect a state compliance or inventory system to their portal.
- Technical data: basic device and browser information, and error reports from the portal, so we can fix problems.
2. Signing in with Google
If you choose "Continue with Google," we receive only your name, email address, and Google's confirmation that the email is verified. We don't request access to your Gmail, contacts, files, calendar or any other Google data. We use that information only to create your Truupr account or sign you in. We don't use it for advertising, we don't sell it, and we don't share it except as this policy describes. Truupr's use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
3. How we use it
- To run the marketplace: verify credentials (automatically when everything matches, with Truupr staff reviewing anything that doesn't and monitoring every application), show tasks, match crews, run the clock, keep the ledger, and send you the emails the service needs, such as your portal link, booking notices and payment reminders.
- To keep both sides safe and honest, for example on-time stamps, early walk-off and late-cancel records, and fix alerts.
- To improve Truupr. Similar tasks tend to bring similar patterns, and we study actions and achievements across the platform to make booking smoother for everyone. That insight is never drawn from wages or whereabouts.
4. Who can see what
- Other members: your actions and achievements only, such as badges, hours on record, crews, dojos toured and your rating.
- The other side of a task you're on: that task's clock-ins and clock-outs, location at clock-in and clock-out, hours, ratings, thread and payment confirmations.
- Truupr: the people who run the platform, to verify, support and resolve disputes.
- Never shown to other members: your pay, your rate, your address, or where you are right now.
5. Service providers
We run on Google Workspace and Google Apps Script (storage, email and the service itself) and Netlify (website hosting). They process data for us under their own security and privacy terms. We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect someone's safety.
6. How long we keep it
We keep your account for as long as it's open. Task and ledger records are the shared history between two parties, so we keep them for as long as they're needed for payment, tax and dispute purposes, even after an account closes. Administrative changes are tracked on the ledger, not erased silently.
7. Your choices
- Email us to see the information we hold about you, correct it, or close your account.
- When you close your account, we delete or de-identify your information, except for the ledger records described above.
- You can turn off browser notifications and location at any time. Clock-in needs location to stamp where you arrived.
8. Changes and contact
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top and tell members in the portal before a significant change takes effect. Questions or requests: hueywiththefire@gmail.com · Truupr, Southern Oregon.
